Faith & Joy in the Classroom

As a Catholic school, throughout the program of Queen of Angels, spirituality is interwoven into students' academic, social, emotional, and physical growth and development. True to the mission of Catholic education, we know that faith formation is a vital component and grounds a well-rounded education. Striving to embody the teachings of Jesus into all aspects of our program, students are given opportunities to learn about and live their faith through classroom instruction, service projects, retreats, weekly Mass, receiving the sacraments, praying the Rosary, and identifying those special 'God moments’ throughout the day.

Our school deeply values the liturgical year, in which we celebrate the saints, participate in Advent and Lenten prayer services, pray the Stations of the Cross, and receive the sacrament of Reconciliation. As a regional Catholic school, the administration works closely with parishes to provide opportunities for outreach and service projects. In doing so, we enable our students to appreciate the larger faith community they are part of and deepen their understanding of the Catholic faith and their relationship with God.

By integrating, modeling, and living our faith, we provide students the tools, knowledge, and support to grow into “the person God created them to be” and prepare them to be compassionate, responsible, and ethical young adults equipped to make a positive difference in their communities and Church.
