The Importance of Empowering Students

When students have access to knowledge, skills, and a supportive enviornment, it’s amazing what they can accomplish! At Queen of Angels, the curriculum is supported by specials classes, faith formation, and co-curricular and extracurricular programs that engage students and create a sense of self-efficacy, resilience, and positive school and classroom climates.

Students are empowered through a program of Responsibility Centered Discipline where expectations are grounded in an adopted school-wide promise founded in being righteous, respectful, responsible, and ready so that each student can become the best person God created him or her to be.

As active participants in their learning, students are engaged through Student Led Conferences in which parents are provided an opportunity to be part of a student-directed conference where goals are presented, and portfolios provide a glimpse of their student's work.
