Guidance & Counseling

The Guidance and Counseling Department at Queen of Angels Catholic School reflects our mission to create a nurturing environment grounded in the Catholic faith for all students by providing support for the social and emotional needs of each student.

Counseling services can take the form of individual meetings, small group guidance, student and parent consultation, and/or classroom guidance. Students can be referred to the Guidance Counselor by teacher recommendation, parent request, counselor initiative, self-request, or any other method that communicates a need for consultation.

The Counselor provides range of programs that include but are not limited to:

  • Classroom instruction in Grades K-2
  • Group meetings for Kindergarten-Grade 5
  • Resources for parents
  • Positive peer interaction and anti-bullying programs
  • Red Ribbon Week
