Application Process

1st Round Applications are due by Friday, February 5, 2027.  Applications received after the 1st Round date will be processed based on space availability.

To apply for 8th grade, families have to be relocating to the area from another Catholic school. Local transfers from any public, private, or another Archdiocesan school are not considered.

The following documents are required to complete an application for consideration: 

• Birth Certificate
• Baptismal Certificate (if applicable)
• Parish Verification Form
• Georgia Department of Public Health Form 3231
• Student Evaluation Form completed by Teacher
• Grades 1-7 - School Transcripts (Report Cards and Standardized Testing)
• Non-Refundable Application Fee is $175

Step 2: Pre-Admission Screening (regular admissions season)

Once a completed application is received by the Admissions Office, you will be contacted to schedule pre-admissions screening.  Kindergarten applicants are assessed for readiness and developmentally appropriate skills that assist in predicting success in our program (45 minutes).  Applicants for all grade levels will be screened for academic benchmarks. 

Step 3: Decision Notification Date  

During the regular admissions season, decision letters are emailed in Spring 2027.

Step 4: Candidate Acceptance Reply Date  

Candidate Acceptance reply date is sent with the email notifying an applicant of enrollment. To secure their space, families will be asked to submit a $500 non-refundable deposit.

General Admissions Information from the Archdiocese of Atlanta

Queen of Angels Catholic School admits students of any race, sex, color, national, or ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to all students at the school. The school does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of educational policies, admissions policies, loan programs, and other school administered programs.

Queen of Angels follows Georgia State Law regarding age for school entrance. For kindergarten, a child must be 5 years old on or before September 1st. Local transfer of students into grade 8 from any public, private, or Archdiocesan school are not considered. Students whose families have relocated to the Atlanta area can apply for admission into Grade 8.

Information obtained during the application process is confidential and includes, but not limited to entrance test scores, teacher evaluations, report card grades, standardized test scores and other information provided.

Students must also meet state standards for immunization. There is no provisional admission. For medical exemptions, a physician must indicate the Immunization Form. The Catholic Church does not recognize an exemption based upon matter of conscience or religious exemption.

Note: All applicants must have a physical exam and meet all state requirements for a second dose of mumps vaccine and a second dose of varicella vaccine. The child’s current Form 3231 should be marked “Complete for School Attendance.” 

Georgia Form 3300 - Certificate of Vision, Hearing, Dental, and Nutrition Screening - is also required for enrollment.
