Applications for the 2025-2026 School Year are open! 

There are limited openings in 1st and 6th grade for the 2024-2025 school year. If you are interested in applying, contact the admissions office or begin your application here.

Application Process

Applications are available online beginning October 1, 2024. Use this link to create an account and begin your application.  There is a Non-Refundable $175.00 application fee. 

1st Round Applications are due by Monday, February 3, 2025. Applications received after the 1st Round date will be processed based on space availability.

To apply for 8th grade, families have to be relocating to the area from another Catholic school. Local transfer of from any public, private, or another Archdiocesan school are not considered. 

All of this information is outlined within the application. For your ease, the following documents are required to complete an application for consideration:

  • Birth Certificate 
  • Baptismal Certificate (if applicable)
  • Parish Verification Form 
  • Student Evaluation Online Form completed by Teacher 
  • Grades 1-7 - School Transcripts requested with this Records Release Form
  • Non-Refundable Application Fee is $175 

The Admissions Review Team conducts an in-depth review of each candidate. During the regular admissions season, decision letters are emailed Saturday, April 5, 2025.

 

Once a completed application is received by the Admissions Office, you will be contacted to schedule pre-admissions screening.  Kindergarten applicants are assessed for readiness and developmentally appropriate skills that assist in predicting success in our program (45 minutes).  Applicants for all grade levels will be screened for academic benchmarks. 

The timeframe for this is January and February 2025.

Students given an offer for enrollment will need to accept the offer for enrollment by a certain date. To secure their space, families will be asked to submit a $500 deposit of which $250 is applied towards tuition. 

 

Archdiocese of Atlanta General Admissions Information

Queen of Angels Catholic School admits students of any race, sex, color, national, or ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to all students at the school. The school does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of educational policies, admissions policies, loan programs, and other school administered programs.

Queen of Angels follows Georgia State Law regarding age for school entrance. For kindergarten, a child must be 5 years old on or before September 1st. Local transfer of students into grade 8 from any public, private, or Archdiocesan school are not considered. Students whose families have relocated to the Atlanta area can apply for admission into Grade 8.

Information obtained during the application process is confidential and includes, but not limited to entrance test scores, teacher evaluations, report card grades, standardized test scores and other information provided.

Students must also meet state standards for immunization. There is no provisional admission. For medical exemptions, a physician must indicate the Immunization Form. The Catholic Church does not recognize an exemption based upon matter of conscience or religious exemption.

Note: All new students must have a physical exam and meet all state requirements for a second dose of mumps vaccine and a second dose of varicella vaccine. The child’s current Form 3231 should be marked “Complete for School Attendance.”

Georgia Form 3300 - Certificate of Vision, Hearing, Dental, and Nutrition Screening - is also required for enrollment.
