For the April notification date, priority is given to all applications turned in by February 2, 2026 (1st Round of Applications). Applications submitted after February 8, 2026 will be considered in the 2nd Round of acceptances.
There are several opportunities to tour the school! See the “Visit QA” section of our website for specific dates and times.
You are welcome to bring your child on the tours we have scheduled. We feel that the Kindergarten Sneak Peak (November 2nd), and the K-8 Open House (January 26th) are the best times for your child(ren) to visit as the entire campus is open and our teachers are present.
Yes! Queen of Angels is committed to making Catholic education a reality for all families. Tuition assistance is available through a separate application process on the FACTS Grant & Aid portal. Awards are based on family need.
Applying to Kindergarten is strongly encouraged as we strive to build a strong foundation for our students as early as possible. There will be the most vacancies at this grade level.
Applicants entering grades 1-7 are also encouraged to apply. Our Admissions Committee reviews applications to ensure a smooth transition. The number of openings in specific grade levels is based on reenrollment.
In accordance with the policies of the Archdiocese of Atlanta, rising 8th grade applicants must be currently enrolled in a Catholic school to qualify for admission.

Admissions notifications are sent via email on Saturday, April 5, 2026. Parents will need to notify the school by April 16, 2026 in order to accept and secure a spot.
Yes! Each day, children wear a uniform that is specific to their gender and grade-level. There are 3 types of uniform: spring uniform, winter/dress uniform, and PE uniform. Please see the link to our school store here.
Yes! Students entering grades 3-7, after being accepted and committing to QA, will have an opportunity to shadow for a half day. More details will be given in the Acceptance Letter.
Once a completed application is received, the Admissions Committee begins a comprehensive review of the application. In light of the Queen of Angels program, the goal of the Admissions Committee is to ensure that each child will be successful emotionally, physically, socially, and academically.
We have 28 students in each homeroom and 2 homerooms per grade level. In grades K-2, there is a full time teacher and teacher assistant that provides a student: teacher ratio of 14:1.
Mornings - Drop off is available after 7am each morning. Students are supervised and then dismissed to class at 7:45 am. There is no charge for this service.
Afternoons - Champions After School Program (3:20pm - 6:00pm)
Queen of Angels Catholic School partners with Champions to offer a quality program available to QA students in Kindergarten through grade 8 on full school days. Students can register to attend this fee-based program on a monthly basis.
Each Kindergarten applicant is assessed with a “Kindergarten Readiness Screening” that takes approximately 45 minutes. The assessment is an instrument that measures a child's readiness for a full-day Kindergarten program and, in conjunction with information from a student's preschool, enables our teachers to provide a smooth transition into the Queen of Angels program.
