QA Breaks Ground for New Fieldhouse & Outdoor Classroom

Associate Superintendent Tony Bonta, members of the Queen of Angels Advisory Council, and the leadership of the Home & School Association helped welcome nearly 200 members of the QA community to the site of the new Fieldhouse and Outdoor Classroom on Saturday, August 24th.

Before ceremoniously “breaking ground," Dr. Jamie Arthur thanked all present for being part of this historical event. She asked for God’s blessings on this project, to be present during the construction process, and to bring this important work to completion.

The vision of the Fieldhouse and Outdoor Classroom has been one for many years due to the need for storage for PE equipment, concessions, and the lack of restrooms on fields. This dream has become a reality through the work of the Facilities Committee, chaired by Charles Heiser, and the support of the Advisory Council.

We are most grateful to the donors who have come forward to make this project possible. Their generosity is a testament to their commitment to the students, the program, and the Queen of Angels Catholic School community.

For the many steps that have taken us on this journey, we appreciate the work that has been done that reinforces our vision for the future.
