For the April notification date, priority is given to all applications turned in by February 9th (1st Round of Applications). Applications submitted after February 9th will be considered in the 2nd Round of acceptances. 

There are several opportunities to tour the school! See the “Visit QA” section of our website for specific dates and times. 

You are welcome to bring your child on the tours we have scheduled. We feel that the Open Houses events are the best times for your child(ren) to visit as the entire campus is open and our teachers are present. The Kindergarten Sneak Peek is Sunday, November 5th and the Open House for all grade levels is Sunday, January 28th. 

Yes! Queen of Angels is committed to making Catholic education a reality for all families. Tuition assistance is available through a separate application process in the FACTS Grant & Aid portal. Awards are based family need. 

The decision to apply to Queen of Angels is based on many factors of each family. Applying in Kindergarten is strongly encouraged to lay a foundation for our program and because we have the most openings at that grade level.  Applicants in grades 1-7 are also encouraged, are reviewed by our Admissions Committee to ensure a smooth transition, and openings based on reenrollment.  In accordance with the policies of the Archdiocese of Atlanta, rising 8th grade applicants must be currently enrolled in a Catholic school to qualify for admission. Please contact Danielle Montepare, Enrollment Director for openings and to answer more specific questions.  

Admissions notifications are sent via email on the Saturday, March 30, 2023. Parents will need to notify the school if they will accept the spot by April 11th.  

Yes! Students entering grades 3-7, after being accepted and committing to QA, will have an opportunity to shadow for a half day. More details will be given in the Acceptance Letter. 

Once a completed application is received, the Admissions Committee begins a comprehensive review of the application. In light of the Queen of Angels program, the goal of the Admissions Committee is to ensure that each child will be successful emotionally, physically, socially, and academically. 

We have 28 students in each homeroom and 2 homerooms per grade level. In grades K-2, there is a full time teacher and teacher assistant that provides a student: teacher ratio of 14:1.

Early morning care is offered daily at no cost to parents and begins at 7:00am. We partner with a program called “Champions" to facilitate after school care. This program is available after dismissal until 6:00pm with fees based on the number of days students are registered.  

Each Kindergarten applicant is assessed with a “Kindergarten Readiness Screening” that takes approximately 45 minutes. The assessment is an instrument that measures a child's readiness for a full-day Kindergarten program and, in conjunction with information from a student's preschool, enables our teachers to provide a smooth transition into the Queen of Angels program.
