Extended Day Program
Queen of Angels offers before and after school care.
Mornings - Drop off is available after 7am each morning. Students are supervised in the cafeteria and dismissed to class at 7:45 am. There is no charge for this service.
Afternoons - Extended Day Program (3:20pm - 6:00pm)
Queen of Angels Catholic School has a quality Extended Day Program (EDP) available to QA students in Kindergarten through grade 8 on full school days. Students can register to attend this fee-based program on a regular basis, for occasional emergencies, or during a late carpool pick up situation.
Approximately 140 students are enrolled with an average daily attendance of 75 students. The ratio of EDP supervision is approximately one adult to ten students. Many families utilize EDP in conjunction with the St. Peter Chanel/Blessed Trinity athletic offerings and in-house extra-curricular opportunities.
A typical afternoon in EDP consists of:
- Homework session
- Snack time
- Outdoor play
- Indoor activities (arts and crafts, dramatic play, and small muscle activities)
Policies, procedures and expectations for students enrolled in EDP follow the guidelines of Queen of Angels Catholic School and can be found in the Extended Day Program Handbook.
