Lunch Bunch – Grades 1-5
Lunch bunch provides an opportunity for the students to visit with the Counselor, classmates and to get to know each other. In rotation, each student in grades 1-5 has a chance to eat lunch with the counselor and other classmates. This occurs once a week during the students’ lunch period and will last until each student has had a chance to attend.

Social Skills Groups – Grades K-5
The group focus will be on social skills, peer interaction, self-expression, problem solving, and communication through role-play, games, and activities. Students will be grouped based on age. The groups will meet once a week for 6 weeks during the student’s lunch and recess. The groups are reserved for students needing additional, small group social skills practice and are limited to 5 participants. Contact Mrs. Kelly for additional information or to register your child for the group.

Grief and Loss Groups - Grades K-8:
The groups are open to students who have experienced the loss of a close family member, extended family member or friend in the last few years. The groups will allow students the opportunity to share their grief experiences and feelings, understand that they are not alone, and learn that their feelings of grief are normal. Along with discussion, some of the group activities will include games, art, music, and crafts. The groups will meet once a week for 8 weeks during the student’s lunch and recess. Students will be grouped based on their pod affiliation. The groups are limited to 6 participants. Contact Mrs. Kelly for additional information or to register your child for the group.
