I Care Cat – Kindergarten
The Counselor visits the kindergarten classrooms to teach peacemaking skills. A stuffed animal, a cat, helps the Counselor teach the lessons. There are a total of five skills the students will learn. The students are rewarded by their teachers when they are caught using the skill. The reward is a red heart sticker that states, “I Care.”
Middle School Guidance Classes
- 6th grade participates in Guidance class in the third quarter
- 7th and 8th grade participate in Guidance class the entire second semester
