Endowment Funds

An endowment provides permanent funding for a specific purpose. An Endowment Fund is invested to protect the future earnings on the principal. Gifts to an endowment can be a tribute made in honor or memory of an individual. The interest from the endowment provides a steady stream of income to support the current needs. An established endowment fund provides Queen of Angels Catholic School with resources to plan for years to come.

Sister Patricia Clune Scholarship Fund

The Sister Patricia Clune Scholarship Fund is our current endowment fund. This fund was founded in 2002 by donations from the Queen of Angels Catholic School community as a memorial to the first principal of the school, Sister Patricia Clune. Sister Patricia believed in making Catholic education affordable for everyone, and this fund is to be used to provide tuition assistance to Queen of Angels Catholic School families. The Sister Patricia Clune Scholarship Fund was endowed in 2003 at $100,000.  The goal is to continue to increase the principle of the fund to achieve a $1 million through the Faith and Learning Initiative.

Sister Patricia Clune is a
Sister of St. Joseph of Carondelet
based in St. Louis, Missouri.
