Award-winning Pack 1134 aims to provide an extracurricular, family-oriented experience that seeks to achieve “fun with a purpose.” All of our activities – including, to name just a few, pack meetings, den meetings, family campouts, and special events such as our annual “Water Explosion” field day, Rocket Day, Pinewood Derby, and Scout Sunday – are designed to foster the goals of Scouting: religious and character development, good citizenship, and personal fitness. Pack meetings and special events are generally held monthly on weekends; and dens set their own meeting schedules, typically twice a month for 1½ hours. “If not, would you want to?” For more information regarding Pack 1134, visit our website at www.pack1134.org

  • Jubilee Music Class
The Jubilee Music Class for Autism is open to all students at Queen of Angels Catholic School. Students participate in the Jubilee Music Class for Autism as volunteer peer role models. Children with autism spectrum disorders frequently learn more easily when music is utilized. That’s why we use musical games and activities to provide children in the spectrum an environment in which they might more easily develop social interaction, communication and play skills. Children in the spectrum, who are not necessarily Queen of Angels Catholic School students, join us for this class. We learn about the fascinating autism spectrum and how to be supportive friends to children in the spectrum. We all learn to respect and appreciate our differences and similarities, our challenges and our gifts, and we have lots of fun making music together, learning to do what Jesus would do!

Jubilee Music will meet on Mondays at Queen of Angels Catholic School from 3:30-5:00 PM and at St. Peter Chanel Catholic Church on Thursdays from 3:30-5:00 PM.  Most students select either Monday or Thursday as their day to attend each week.    If the student chooses Thursday, there must be a walker waiver on file with the school.  Contact: Lyonstunes@aol.com
